Mizrach

M-P

This beautiful design expresses the essence of the Mizrach as an art form. The Hebrew  word mizrach means east, the direction one stands in prayer when in the diaspora of Europe and the Americas. It is the direction of Jerusalem and in particular,  the site of the Holy Temple on Mount Moriyah,

The symbolism of the sanctity of the land of Israel and Jerusalem is echoed in this work of art. At the top is a magnificent rendering of Jerusalem’s cityscape with the inclusion of the rebuilt Temple. Below the central panel of the word Mizrach, the artist has painted the Seven Species of Eretz Israel: dates, wheat, barley, figs, pomegranates, olives, and grapes

This fine art print is available either with the word Mizrach painted in a parchement or a red background color. This print is available in two sizes: 20 in. by 16 in.  / 10 in. by 8 in.
